Spring Break begins March 16; Fall Enrollment opens March 24

March 2, 2026

Northwestern Oklahoma State University will observe spring break March 16-20. Enrollment for the fall semester opens March 24.

Administrative offices at all three campuses and the J.W. Martin Library will be closed Monday through Wednesday, March 16-18, in observance of the break. The J.R. Holder Wellness Center will maintain regular hours. Offices and the library will be open March 19-20 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Classes will resume their normal schedule on Monday, March 23.

Enrollment for the summer term is open. Students taking interim classes scheduled for May 11-29 need to verify schedules as each class varies on start and end dates. June only classes, as well as June and July classes, will begin June 1. June only classes end June 25. July only classes will start June 26. The summer session ends July 23.

Fall semester classes will begin Aug. 17. A list of all available classes can be viewed online on the Course Schedules webpage.

Calleb Mosburg, vice president for student services and enrollment management, said Northwestern is committed to student success and wants students to complete their degrees and move on to employment or advanced study. He noted that Northwestern has adopted "15 to Finish," a statewide initiative through the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education that encourages students to enroll in 15 credit hours per semester — or 30 per year — to stay on track for four-year graduation and avoid the financial burden of additional semesters.

Students with enrollment questions may call the Alva Registry Office at (580) 327-8554, the Enid Registration Office at (580) 213-3102 or the office in Woodward at (580) 254-2500.
