16 Set to Compete in Northwestern’s 73rd Miss Cinderella Pageant

ALVA, Okla. — The 73rd annual Miss Cinderella Pageant will feature 16 young women representing their high schools from Oklahoma and Kansas during the 2025 Northwestern Oklahoma State University “Rowdy Under the Big Top” Homecoming celebrations.

The Miss Cinderella Talent Show is Thursday, Oct. 23, at 7:30 p.m., and the pageant is Friday, Oct. 24, at 8 p.m. Both events will be held in Fellers Family Auditorium in Herod Hall.

The high school seniors who are competing and the high schools they represent are Adalee Alley, Miss Buffalo; Kylee Daugherty, Miss Seiling; Mackenzie Dulinsky, Miss Ringwood; Jaden Gillespie, Miss Mooreland; MaKenzi Hamil, Miss Taloga; Mariella Herrera, Miss Cherokee; Chloe Jantz, Miss Burlington; Kaitlyn Laverty, Miss Laverne; Josie Littau, Miss Woodward; Addyson Petty, Miss Fairview; Madeline Ryerson, Miss Alva; Raelyn Syms, Miss Sharon-Mutual; Leah Taylor, Miss Shattuck; Henzley Thomas, Miss Timberlake; Rose Thompson, Miss South Barber (Kansas); and Randi Shay Wilson, Miss Waynoka.

Contestants and their sponsors met with the pageant committee on Oct. 12 to review all requirements and rules associated with the talent show set for Oct. 23, the pageant itself on Oct. 24, and Northwestern’s homecoming parade on Saturday, Oct. 25.

Each contestant who participates in the Miss Cinderella Pageant will receive a $2,000 tuition scholarship ($1,000 each semester) to be used during their freshman year at Northwestern-Alva.

The winner of Miss Cinderella will receive eight semesters of tuition and a one-year room waiver scholarship for a semi-private room at Northwestern-Alva.

The first and second runners-up will receive six and four semesters of tuition, respectively.

Third and fourth runners-up will receive one-year room waivers.

The talent winner and Miss Congeniality will receive one-year room waivers, and the winner of the interview portion of the contest will receive a book scholarship.

All Miss Cinderella contestants also are a part of the annual homecoming parade that takes place Saturday, Oct. 25, at 10 a.m. on the downtown square.

Admission to either the Miss Cinderella Talent Show and the Miss Cinderella Pageant is free with the $10 purchase of a 2025 Northwestern Homecoming Button, otherwise tickets are $10 each night for adults, $5 for Northwestern students with a valid student ID. Buttons will be available at the door on Talent Show night.

Anyone who wants to purchase buttons and is not contacted by a button salesperson can buy them at J.R. Holder Wellness Center, the Northwestern bookstore or Northwestern Foundation office in the Student Center, or the Northwestern business office in Herod Hall.

Buttons will also be available at the Alva Chamber of Commerce, Bates & Co, Holder Drug, La Dee Da and Rialto Cinema.
