Northwestern to Begin Summer Work Hours on May 22; Offices Close for Memorial Day May 29

All Northwestern Oklahoma State University locations will begin summer work hours starting Monday, May 22, through Thursday, July 27. This year employees will work from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, with 30 minutes for lunch and Fridays off. 

In an effort to better serve Northwestern’s prospective students during these adjusted summer work weeks, the following Northwestern-Alva offices will remain open on Fridays:

  • Recruitment
  • Business Office
  • Financial Aid
  • Registry

In addition, one senior-level administrator will work each Friday at Northwestern-Alva.

Northwestern-Woodward and Enid will take on summer hours as well with no offices open on Fridays.

Northwestern offices will be closed for Memorial Day May 29 and for Independence Day July 4.

Summer enrollment is still open at Northwestern for both undergraduate and graduate programs. Summer classes begin June 1 for June-only classes and classes held in both June and July; July-only classes begin June 29.

The final days to register for classes in the summer are June 5 for June-only classes; July 5 for July-only classes, and June 7 for classes held in both June and July. Fall classes begin Aug. 14, and enrollment will remain open until Aug. 22. Freshman Orientation will take place Aug. 12.
