Northwestern PLC to sponsor OBI Blood Drive Sept. 9-10

ALVA, Okla. — Northwestern Oklahoma State University’s President’s Leadership Class is partnering with the Our Blood Institute in Oklahoma to hold a blood drive from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 9-10, in the Student Center Ranger Room on the Alva campus.

The blood donor goal for the event is 68 blood units for the drive. This event is open to the public.

All blood donors will receive a free limited-edition glow-in-the-dark “Wicked Good Donors” t-shirt. Free pizza will be available, and all donors will be entered in a drawing for a chance to win a $25 Northwestern bookstore gift card.

Donors will need to show a photo ID to give blood. Walk-ins are welcome.
