Ledbetter Leading Nocturnal Hike at Salt Plains National Wildlife Refuge May 3

Join a nocturnal hike at the Salt Plains National Wildlife Refuge on Saturday, May 3, from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Dr. Nicholus Ledbetter, assistant professor of biology at Northwestern Oklahoma State University, will lead a nocturnal hike at the Salt Plains National Wildlife Refuge on Saturday, May 3, from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. The Refuge’s Aaron Short will join him.

Ledbetter advises participants to bring a flashlight to hike the Eagle Roost trail and see the hidden diversity of nighttime animals such as snakes, frogs and insects.
