Explore Opportunities to Return to College During Northwestern’s Reach Higher: RECONNECT Event
November 14, 2025
Oklahomans who have successfully completed some college coursework, but have not yet finished a college degree will have the unique opportunity to submit college admission applications, receive advisement and financial aid counseling, and enroll in college classes with support from knowledgeable staff members during Northwestern Oklahoma State University’s Reach Higher: RECONNECT Event on Tuesday, Nov. 18, in Alva, Enid and Woodward.
Reach Higher: RECONNECT events are a series of coordinated student recruitment opportunities to be held September through December at participating Reach Higher campuses across the state. The primary goals of these events are to increase awareness of the adult-friendly degree completion options available through the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education’s Reach Higher initiative and encourage adults who have earned some college credit to successfully complete their degrees.
Each campus location will extend its hours on Nov. 18 and will work with students specifically between the hours of 3-6 p.m.for advising or simply to ask questions. A Zoom room is available at all locations if a person cannot attend in person.
Reach Higher provides degree completion program options for adult learners at participating colleges and universities across the state. Features vary by program and include flexible enrollment periods, online courses, and the opportunity to complete a degree program aligned with Oklahoma’s “100 Critical Occupations” list.
