Annual Northwestern Presidential Lecture Series set for March 10

Graphic featuring an American flag background with five white stars at top. White text reads ALVA, Okla. — Northwestern Oklahoma State University will welcome author Jim Rasenberger to the annual Presidential Lecture Series on Tuesday, March 10, in the Student Center Ballroom, from 1 to 2:30 p.m.

This year’s session is titled “Presidents of the Declaration of Independence: The Friendship and Collaboration of John Adams and Thomas Jefferson.” The program is free and open to the campus community and public, and refreshments will be provided.

Rasenberger is the author of five books including “Revolver,” “The Brilliant Disaster,” “America, 1908” and “High Steel.” He has also contributed to the New York Times, Vanity Fair, Smithsonian and other publications. He is a native of Washington, D.C., and resides in New York City.

This discussion will center around his upcoming work, “A Perfect Coincidence,” which deals with the lives and accomplishments of John Adams and Thomas Jefferson.
