14 Northwestern Seniors Placed in Student Teaching Assignments at Local Schools

ALVA, Okla. — Fourteen Northwestern Oklahoma State University senior education students recently began their student teaching assignments at local schools to gain critical hands-on experience.
The students will return to campus monthly to assess their progress, attend a service learning day at the Oklahoma State Capitol in October and complete their portfolio exit interviews in December. Commencement is scheduled for Dec. 7 at 2:30 p.m in Percefull Fieldhouse.
Listed below are the students, their majors, hometowns and teaching assignments.
Early Childhood Education – Brianda Diaz of Carson City, Nevada, at Liberty Elementary School in Ponca City; Mary Tyler of Alva at Burlington Elementary School
Elementary Education – Chloe Bradt of Alva at Cherokee Elementary School; Hope Ellis of Enid at Pioneer-Pleasant Vale Elementary School in Enid;
Kylee Frazee of Enid at Hoover Elementary School in Enid; Mary Lee Hainzinger of Ponca City at Newkirk Elementary School;
Bailey Humphries of Enid at Adams Elementary School in Enid; Tegan Jones of Shattuck at Reydon Public Schools;
Adele LaBombard of Ponca City at Tonkawa Elementary School; Edgar Reyes of Laredo, Texas, at Northwest Elementary School in Dodge City, Kansas
