Chemistry Club Meeting-Jeopardy Game Night

Starts: Aug 31, 2023 05:30 PM
Ends: Aug 31, 2023 07:30 PM

This event is for all NWOSU students - no matter their major. Attend to gain knowledge, friendships, and have fun while making a positive difference in our Alva community!

There is no charge for attending. However, to become a member of Chemistry Club, there is a small fee of $10 per student for the year (Fall '23 and Spring '24).

The organization's objectives shall be: To give the chemistry student, or anyone else who would want to join, an opportunity to see the world of chemistry. To promote exchange between students studying chemistry and the chemical sciences. To strengthen the confidence of the students in themselves and in their work by developing competencies in communications, human relations, and other social abilities leading to the intelligent choice of a career and successful employment in any field including the chemical industry. To provide programs and activities to develop responsibility, leadership, organization, and citizenship. To provide outreach to the community and university through volunteer projects, demonstrations for local elementary and secondary schools, seminars, and other learning projects. To provide field trips to places of employment for chemists to establish employment possibilities for future chemists.
