The University Chorale is Northwestern’s most advanced large choral ensemble. Consisting of approximately 25 to 30 of the most skilled singers at the University, the Chorale performs a diverse repertoire of accompanied and a cappella literature. Membership in the Chorale is open to any student regardless of major, but is by audition only.
The University Chorale has been invited to perform at the Grande Concert of the Tri-State Music Festival (Enid, OK) and at the Dallas Symphony Orchestra’s Meyerson Center. The Chorale was also recently named as the second runner-up (third place) in the prestigious 2010 American Prize Competition in Choral Performance Music in the college/university division.
