So, what’s Northwestern really like?
Even though you may have received our letters, our brochures and our viewbook, and you’ve taken our phone calls and received our e-mails, the best way to make a decision about attending Northwestern Oklahoma State University is by visiting our campus, whether that’s in Alva, Enid or Woodward.
Each campus may fulfill different needs, so if you’re looking for a traditional campus experience, come see us in Alva where we offer both lower and upper division courses, as well as graduate studies. While here, we encourage you to visit student housing, meet with students and faculty, observe classes in session, go to a concert, play or athletic event, and dine in Coronado Cafeteria or the Student Center Food Court.
If convenience is the issue because of family or jobs or you live closer to Woodward, come check out our newly constructed building. In Woodward, we offer lower and upper division courses, as well as graduate studies.
Our Enid campus also provides its students with the convenience of finishing a degree; however, only junior and senior level courses and graduate studies are available.
By touring the campus(es) of your choice, you can observe how the university functions in an academic setting. Obviously, the best time to visit would be during the fall or spring semesters when the most students and activities are occurring so you can get a true feeling of campus life. But, if that is not possible, the main thing to do is to just come see us!
Northwestern offers a chance to grow and learn - to prepare for the rest of your life and to earn an education of which you will be proud. Regardless of which campus you decide upon, we hope you come to love being a Ranger.
