    Dr. Sue DielSue Diel has taught at Northwestern for 13 years and enjoys it immensely. “When I left to teach in another state, I realized that I missed just about everything at Northwestern," she said. "There is a collegiality among the faculty, a respectful attitude from the students, and a desire for learning that is evident within the faculty and the students. I was so thankful that I could come back home to Northwestern to teach."

  • Annual Ranger Rodeo underway

    The annual Ranger Rodeo presented by Northwestern Oklahoma State University will have its opening performance at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, at the Woods County Fairgrounds Arena. More than 500 student competitors from 20-plus colleges and universities are expected to participate. The rodeo is a sanctioned event of the Central Plains Region of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association.

  • CORE recognized by state for "Big Event"

    Conserving Our Ranger Environment (CORE) at Northwestern Oklahoma State University is a finalist for a state award for the group’s role in the “Big Event.” The group was nominated by the Board of Directors for Keep Oklahoma Beautiful. Group advisers and select members will travel to Oklahoma City Nov. 17 for a reception and awards ceremony where the “Big Event” will be described and recognized.
