November 25, 2019

Dec. Blood Drive

Northwestern Oklahoma State University’s Alva campus is partnering with the Oklahoma Blood Institute (OBI) to hold a blood drive from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, Dec. 5-6, in the Student Center Ranger Room.

The blood donor goal for the Northwestern softball and volleyball teams-sponsored event is 118 donors. This event is open to the public.

All donors will receive free pizza, a limited edition long sleeved “Follow Your Instinct” t-shirt, free health screenings and donor reward points. Donors will have the chance to enter a drawing for a $25 gift certificate to the Northwestern bookstore.

This drive also will have a dorm challenge. The dorm with the highest percentage of donors will win a taco and nacho bar party.

Save time and complete the screening questions online at http://obi.org/donor-express. The confirmation sheet must be printed the day of donation. Please have a photo ID available to give blood.

To make an appointment, to volunteer or have questions answered contact Kaylyn Hansen, service learning coordinator, at (580) 327-8150 or klhansen@nwosu.edu.
