Twenty-two Northwestern Oklahoma State University senior education students recently began their student teaching assignments throughout Oklahoma and Kansas to gain critical hands-on experience.

The students represent five program areas: agriculture education, early childhood education, elementary education, health and sports science education, and instrumental music education.

Semester Timeline and Commencement

  • Students return to campus monthly to assess their progress.
  • A service learning day at the Oklahoma State Capitol takes place in October.
  • Portfolio exit interviews take place in December.
  • Commencement is scheduled for Dec. 6 at 2:30 p.m. in Percefull Fieldhouse in Alva, Oklahoma.
