Northwestern to Close for Memorial Day May 30; Summer Classes Begin June 1, Fall Classes Begin Aug. 15

Northwestern Oklahoma State University will observe Memorial Day on Monday, May 30, as all University locations will close this day.

New or current students are encouraged to enroll for summer courses as soon as possible. Summer classes begin June 1 for June only classes and classes held in both June and July; July only classes begin June 29.

Final days to register for classes in the summer are June 2 for June only classes; June 30 for July only classes, and June 6 for classes held in both June and July. Fall classes begin Aug. 15, and enrollment will remain open until Aug. 23. Freshman Orientation will take place Aug. 13.

As a reminder, all Northwestern locations will observe the four-day, 10-hour summer work days May 23-July 21, 7 a.m.-5:30 p.m. The offices of Recruitment, Registry, Financial Aid and the Business Office will remain open on Fridays on the Alva campus only. Also, one senior-level administrator will work each Friday.
