Northwestern President’s Leadership Class to Sponsor Blood Drive Sept. 9-10

ALVA, Okla. — Northwestern Oklahoma State University’s President’s Leadership Class (PLC) is partnering with Our Blood Institute to sponsor the “Fangs Just Wanna Have Fun” blood drive on Wednesday, Sept. 9, and Thursday, Sept. 10, in the Student Center Ranger Room from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the Northwestern-Alva campus.

PLC has set a goal of collecting 48 blood donations during the two-day drive. The event is open to students, faculty, staff and community members.

  • Location: Student Center Ranger Room, Northwestern-Alva campus, Alva, Oklahoma
  • Donation goal: 48 blood donations
  • Open to: Students, faculty, staff and community members

  • Required to donate: Photo identification

What Donors Receive

All donors will receive a free limited-edition T-shirt while supplies last, and free pizza will be available.

All donors will be entered in a drawing for a chance to win a $25 Northwestern bookstore gift card.

How to Schedule a Donation

Walk-ins are welcome, and photo identification is required to donate.

Those wishing to donate are encouraged to go online and make an appointment by visiting Our Blood Institute’s Northwestern Oklahoma State University blood drive scheduling page, or call 877-340-8777.
