Miss Ringwood Alondra Salas Wins 2021 Miss Cinderella Crown

Miss Cinderella 2021, Interview Award winner and Miss Congeniality Winner Alondra Salas, Miss Ringwood

Alondra Salas, Miss Ringwood, won the title of Miss Cinderella for the 69th Miss Cinderella Pageant at Northwestern Oklahoma State University Friday, Oct. 8.

Salas took home the prize for the interview portion of the contest and will receive a book scholarship from Northwestern. She was also voted as Miss Congeniality by her fellow contestants. As the winner of Miss Congeniality she will receive a one-year room waiver.

The pageant is held for high school senior girls in conjunction with the university’s homecoming celebration.

The Miss Cinderella Talent Show was on Thursday with interviews taking place Friday morning, ending with the pageant Friday evening.

Miss Cinderella 2021 Winners

First runner-up and Talent Winner was Justyce Wilson, Miss Woodward; second runner-up was Megan Spray, Miss Sharon-Mutual; third runner-up was Alondra Ceniceros, Miss Buffalo; and fourth runner-up was Maria Sosa, Miss Laverne.

As Miss Cinderella, Salas will receive eight semesters of tuition and a one-year room waiver scholarship at Northwestern-Alva.

Wilson took home the Talent Award for her pointe dance to “Claire De Lune” by Claude Debussy.

The first and second runners-up will receive six and four semesters of tuition, respectively.

Third and fourth runners-up will receive a one-year room waiver in addition to the tuition scholarship each contestant receives.

Each contestant who participates in the Miss Cinderella Pageant receives a $2,000 tuition scholarship to be used their freshman year at Northwestern-Alva.

All Miss Cinderella contestants also are a part of the annual homecoming parade that takes place Saturday, Oct. 9, at 10 a.m. on the downtown square.
