Miss Perry Carli Seabolt wins 2019 Miss Cinderella crown

Miss Cinderella 2019 and Talent Winner Miss Perry Carli Seabolt

Carli Seabolt, Miss Perry, won the title of Miss Cinderella for the 68th Miss Cinderella Pageant at Northwestern Oklahoma State University Friday, Oct. 25.

The pageant is held for high school senior girls in conjunction with the university’s homecoming celebration.

The Miss Cinderella Talent Show was on Thursday with interviews taking place Friday morning, ending with the pageant Friday evening.

First runner-up was MaKenzie Miller, Miss Woodward; second runner-up and Interview Award winner was Kylee Harzman, Miss Alva; third runner-up was Jimmi Winn, Miss Laverne; fourth runner-up was Joslyn Clem, Miss Cherokee; and voted Miss Congeniality was Lauren Lagos, Miss Burlington.

As Miss Cinderella, Seabolt will receive eight semesters of tuition and a one-year room waiver scholarship at Northwestern-Alva. Seabolt also took home the Talent Award for her vocal solo to the song “Happy Days are Here Again” by Milton Ager and Jack Yellen.

Lagos was voted as Miss Congeniality by her fellow contestants. As the winner of Miss Congeniality she will receive a one-year room waiver.

Harzman took home the prize for the interview portion of the contest and will receive a book scholarship from Northwestern.

The first and second runners-up will receive six and four semesters of tuition, respectively.

Third and fourth runners-up will receive a one-year room waiver in addition to the tuition scholarship each contestant already receives.

Each contestant who participates in the Miss Cinderella Pageant automatically receives a one-year tuition scholarship to Northwestern-Alva.

All Miss Cinderella contestants also are a part of the annual homecoming parade that takes place Saturday, Oct. 26, at 10 a.m. on the downtown square.
