The Secrets of APA Style workshop April 11-12 at noon in the J.W. Martin Library, room 221 of the annex, or via Zoom by registering.

Northwestern Oklahoma State University’s J.W. Martin Library staff will play host to a workshop titled "The Secrets of APA Style” April 11-12 at noon. Those attending may bring a lunch.

This workshop will teach students to cite sources correctly and build an APA template for their upcoming term papers.

All Northwestern students and employees are welcome to attend.

“We’ve spoken to several professors who’ve indicated that some students are concerned about being able to cite their sources correctly in APA style,” Douglas Davidson, research and instructional services librarian and assistant professor of library science, said. “This workshop will cover citations but will also give some time-saving tips that will enable students to format their papers correctly and use Microsoft Word more efficiently.”

He said attending the workshop will help students save time and produce better papers.

It will be held in Room 221 of the library annex, or students can register to attend remotely via Zoom by using https://library.nwosu.edu/workshop-login/form.
