A new eight-week course within the social sciences department will begin March 11 at Northwestern Oklahoma State University for students needing three hours of general education credit this semester.

American History to 1877 (HIS 1483) is being offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-9 p.m. in Jesse Dunn 320 on the Alva campus. Dr. Roger Hardaway, professor of history, is teaching the class.

Registrar Sheri Lahr said that the students will need to enroll in her office in Herod Hall using an add/drop form.
