Diversity Training Workshop for Northwestern employees to cover financial aid, new Ellucian system

March 8, 2019

The annual Diversity Training Workshop for all Northwestern Oklahoma State University employees will take place March 12 from 2-3:30 p.m. in the Student Center Ranger Room on the Alva campus. The topic is “Understanding Financial Aid: Challenges and Restrictions for Faculty Advisors.”

Calleb Mosburg, dean of student affairs and enrollment management, and Tara Hannaford, director of financial aid and scholarships, will share important information to assist faculty and staff with advising.

Information also will be shared about the new Ellucian system, a centralized administrative and information management tool for day-to-day operations at Northwestern. Students, staff and faculty will experience more efficient service and processes related to financial aid, purchasing, human resources, enrollment and advising, and reporting.

Refreshments will be served.

This workshop will be shared via Zoom Recording and a link will be placed on the Diversity webpage later this spring. Zoom login information will be sent to department and division chairs.

For more information on this workshop contact Dr. Kay Decker, chair of the department of social sciences and chair of the diversity committee, at kldecker@nwosu.edu or (580) 327-8521.
