17 Set to Compete in Northwestern's 74th Miss Cinderella Pageant

ALVA, Okla. — The 74th annual Miss Cinderella Pageant will feature 17 young women representing their high schools from Oklahoma and Kansas during the 2026 Northwestern Oklahoma State University “Red, White & Rowdy” Homecoming celebrations.

The Miss Cinderella Talent Show is Thursday, Oct. 8, at 7:30 p.m., and the pageant is Friday, Oct. 9, at 8 p.m. Both events will be held in Fellers Family Auditorium in Herod Hall in Alva, Oklahoma.

Emcee for the 2026 Pageant

Miss Northwestern 2026 Abbey Elam will emcee this year’s pageant. Jaselyn Rossman, Miss Oklahoma 2026, had been scheduled to appear but has a conflicting commitment with the Miss America organization that takes precedence in her role.

Elam recently won the Miss Northwest Passage 2027 title.

Scholarships Awarded to Contestants

  • Every contestant: A $2,000 tuition scholarship ($1,000 each semester) to be used during their freshman year at Northwestern-Alva
  • Miss Cinderella winner: Eight semesters of tuition and a one-year room waiver scholarship for a semi-private room at Northwestern-Alva
  • First runner-up: Six semesters of tuition
  • Second runner-up: Four semesters of tuition
  • Third and fourth runners-up: One-year room waivers
  • Talent winner and Miss Congeniality: One-year room waivers
  • Interview winner: A book scholarship

Contestant and Sponsor Orientation

Contestants and their sponsors met with the pageant committee on Sept. 27 to review all requirements and rules associated with the talent show, the pageant itself and Northwestern’s annual homecoming parade, set to take place Saturday, Oct. 10, at 10 a.m. on the downtown square.

Admission and Homecoming Buttons

Admission to the Miss Cinderella Talent Show and the Miss Cinderella Pageant is free with the $10 purchase of a 2026 Northwestern Homecoming Button. Otherwise tickets are $10 each night for adults and $5 for Northwestern students with a valid student ID.

Buttons will be available at the door on Talent Show night. Anyone who wants to purchase buttons and is not contacted by a button salesperson can buy them at these locations:
