14 Northwestern Social Work Students Enter the Field

Bachelor-level social work students at Northwestern Oklahoma State University recently began their field practicums at agencies throughout Oklahoma. These 14 seniors entered practicum agencies to complete 420 contact hours and more.
Entry Deadline February 23 for 19th Art Show at Northwestern

The entry deadline for forms to be submitted for the 19th annual Northwestern Oklahoma State University Art Society (NAS) Art Show in the J.W. Martin Library on March 6-25 will be here soon. Entry forms should be submitted no later than Feb. 23.
'Clockwork' First Spring Theatre Production at Northwestern Feb. 17-19

Sydney Endsley, a Northwestern Oklahoma State University senior speech and theatre major, will direct the first theatre production of the spring semester, “Clockwork,” at 7 p.m. on Feb. 17 and 18 and 2 p.m. on Feb. 19 in the Herod Hall auditorium.
OBI Blood Drive Looking for 90 Donors Feb. 16-17

Northwestern Oklahoma State University’s Alva campus is partnering with the Oklahoma Blood Institute (OBI) to hold a blood drive from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, Feb. 16-17, in the Student Center Ranger Room.

Northwestern Oklahoma State University has new leadership in the English, Foreign Language and Humanities Department as Dr. Roxie James has been named as its new chair. James replaces Dr. Kathryn Lane, professor of English, who will remain as faculty.
