The first Ranger Queen finalist is Adriana Guel, a junior social work major from Los Angeles, California. Guel is sponsored by Chartwells Dining Services. Her hobbies include reading, painting and travelling. She is the daughter of Ruben and Maria Guel.
The second Ranger Queen finalist is Mallory Overpeck, a senior biology and chemistry major from Elkhart, Kansas. Overpeck is sponsored by the Medical Sciences club. She is a math tutor in the Academic Success Center. She is the daughter of Patrick and Traci Overpeck.
The third Ranger Queen finalist is Madison Wilson, a senior history and theatre major from Enid. Wilson is sponsored by the Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority. Her hobbies include acting and planning events. She is the daughter of Martin and Tammy Wilson.
Other Ranger Royalty members are flower girl Sutton Hansen, daughter of Shane and Kaylyn Hansen; and crown bearer Watson Burdick, son of Richard and Laura Burdick.
Matthew Fuller, a junior health and sports science education major from Morrison, also ran for Ranger King.
The other candidates for Ranger Queen included Katlynn Huckabay, a senior health and sports science major from Mangum; Jakeria Otey, a senior adult education major from Bryant, Arkansas; Shannon Nesseralla, a junior mass communication major from Alva; Kenlee Netherton, a senior psychology major from Blair; and Jacque Ruhl, a senior political science major from Alva.
The other candidates for Freshman Queen included Jaya Barnes, a criminal justice major from Del City; Juliet Chaloupek, a pre-dental hygiene major from Beaver; Catie Clifford, a psychology major from Elmore City; Sadie Crusinbery, a nursing major from Burlington; Catherynn Lewis, a biology major from Del City; Sasha Matthews, a biology major from Alva; Merin McDaniel, a pre-vet major from Mustang; Ashton Tuck, a biology major from Woodward; and Hannah Webb, a biology major from Woodward.
The second and final round of voting for Ranger King and Queen will take place Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 21-22.
The Ranger King and Ranger Queen Coronation ceremony will take place during halftime of the homecoming football game against Harding University on Saturday, Oct. 26. The game starts at 4 p.m.
