Endowed Music Foundation Scholarship Application
Due February 5 - Applicants must be full-time students.


Alton and Betty Zimmerman
• Outstanding incoming vocal music major
• Must have a minimum 19 ACT score
• Submit letter of recommendation from vocal teacher
• Must have minimum 6 semesters of high school choir
• Must audition and interview
• Can be renewed each year. Must maintain 3.0 GPA in vocal studies and be enrolled in a vocal ensemble.

Blackford-Funk
• For music majors studying piano or with strong piano skills

Bobette Buchanan Pfeifer Visual Arts Scholarship
• For students in visual arts
• Must have at least a 3.0 CGPA in art and completed two or more art classes

Brunkest
• For music majors who are continuing students

Case Family Scholarship
• Given to visual arts students in even-numbered years and mass communication students in odd-numbered years
• For full-time students with at least a 3.5 overall GPA
• Must be active in their department's campus organizations and major or minor in art or mass comm

Charles Fisher
• For continuing instrumental music or music education majors.
• First preference is to award instrumental music majors

Donovan and Dorothy Reichenberger
• For vocal music majors, renewable for up to four years

Doris Cooley
• For any music major who shows good educational intent and a desire to learn

Dorothy Reichenberger Memorial
• For any student majoring in music

Electa Lee Frieden
• For any fine arts major with a preference given to music

Fred Neuman
• For music majors who graduated from Alva HS
• Must be a continuing student

Kenneth and Sue Fellers Family
• For any continuing music major. Only offered fall semesters of Odd years
• Preference towards financial need and residents of Northwest Oklahoma

Oscar Stover
• For any member of the Northwestern Ranger Band who is a significant contributor to the ensemble

Ruth Marie Genuit
• Vocal performance majors
• Must audition in front of at least two music faculty members

Shirley Family
• For continuing students who are members of the Northwestern Ranger Band

Dale and Duane Zeman
• For continuing student(s)
• Must have at least a 3.0 GPA
• Actively involved in band, theatre, or vocal

Globe Theatre Award (Donovan Reichenberger Theater Scholarship)
• Must participate each semester in theatre course(s) and productions
• Must participate each semester in Castle Players
• Must meet admission standards and the scholarship criteria set forth by Northwestern’s Fine Arts Department.

The Maude Drake Bingham Scholarship
• Must participate each semester in theatre course(s) and productions
• Must participate each semester in Castle Players
• For continuing Northwestern upper division or graduate student
• First preference: speech/theater major
• Second preference: any major within the School of Arts and Sciences
• 3.0 CGPA

The NWOSU Theatre Scholarship
• Must participate each semester in theatre course(s) and productions
• Must participate each semester in Castle Players
• Must meet admission standards and the scholarship criteria set forth by Northwestern’s Fine Arts Department.

The Stewart-Weast Scholarship
• Must participate each semester in theatre courses and productions
• Must participate each semester in Castle Players
• Enrolled full-time at Alva campus
• Must have at least a 19 ACT
