Thank you for your interest in the artist residency at Northwestern Oklahoma State University. Please complete the form below to be considered for the residency. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis but the scheduling of residents typically occurs on May 15th for the following school year. If you are applying for consideration beyond the upcoming school year, please make a note in your application. Artists are responsible for providing their own transportation, food, and material costs. The closest metropolitan area and airport is located in Wichita, Kansas (transportation from and to airport provided by the University).

Months available to attend? (Stays shorter than 1 month have flexible start dates) *

Residents are expected to furnish their own supplies, but basic items (newsprint, tape, cleaning supplies, etc.) are provided by the department and major pieces of equipment (easels, printing press, scanner, etc.) are available for the residents to use. What supplies and equipment do you anticipate needing for your projects?

Residents are expected to deliver a public artist talk and/or workshop during their stay and have the opportunity to exhibit at First-Friday Artwalk. If not previously mentioned, please discuss any potential community engagement or workshop ideas.
