Advising Students Roadshow

Spring 2027 enrollment opens on Oct. 20. Between multiple campuses, concurrent and transfer credit, alternating-year rotations, and tight program sequences, advising has more moving parts than ever.

With support from the Faculty Development Advisory Board (FDAB), we are bringing the Advising Roadshow to each of our campuses this fall. Sessions will cover prerequisites and sequencing, course rotations, program-specific pitfalls, communicating with a student’s listed advisor, and documenting advising in Self-Service. You’ll
also leave with new advising checklists for first-time freshmen and transfer students.

Open to anyone who advises students at Northwestern.
