The Homecoming theme at Northwestern Oklahoma State University for the Sept. 23-25 event is “Reconnect: From Yearbook to Facebook,” so what better time to pick up a copy of a Ranger yearbook from the past and “like” the university’s Facebook page.
The Office of University Relations is offering for sale a number of surplus yearbooks it has stored in its office.
There are several hardback yearbooks available from the years 1971, 1973, 1974/75, 1976, 1982, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991 and 1992, and a limited supply of yearbooks from 1984 and 1985. These hardback yearbooks are $25.
Soft cover yearbooks available are from the years 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996-97 and 1998. These books are $15.
If interested in any of the books, please contact the office at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (580) 327-8480 or (580) 327-8486. Buyer pays all shipping charges.
Checks should be payable to NWOSU and mailed to Valarie Case, Office of University Relations, 709 Oklahoma Blvd., Alva, OK 73717. No credit or debit cards please.
If interested in continuing to check out what’s happening at Northwestern via Facebook, people can visit the university’s page at www.facebook.com/nwosu.rangers. University news items about events, athletics, students, alumni, as well as postings on weather-related issues, immediate updates and other general topics of university interest are posted on a daily basis. Several other areas of campus have their own Facebook pages, too, and a list can be found at the above link under the tab “Other Fan Pages.”
Many other items about the university can be found at its website, www.nwosu.edu, with other Homecoming-event info at www.nwosu.edu/homecoming.
