    NORTHWESTERN WOMEN FINISH 14TH AT WEST TEXASAMARILLO, Tex. – Northwestern’s women’s golf team rounded out the two day Lady Buff Stampede at La Paloma Golf Course in Amarillo with a team score of 761. In a tournament that was played by predominately NCAA Division II teams, the Rangers finished 28 shots in front of Lincoln University (Mo.) and were 15 strokes shy of Southwestern Oklahoma State.

    NORTHWESTERN WOMEN FINISH SECOND AT SOUTH CENTRAL INVITATIONALWINFIELD, Kan. – Northwestern’s women’s golf team shaved 16 strokes in its final day of competition at the South Central Invitational in Winfield, Kan. over the weekend to finish in second place. The Rangers shot 379 in their opening round and came back to card a 363 on Tuesday to finish 27 strokes behind the tournament champion Oklahoma Baptist University.

    WOMEN’S GOLF TEAM OPENS SEASON WITH WIN IN KANSASMCPHERSON, Kan. – The Ranger women’s golf team started the 2009-10 in fine form, winning the Central Christian Fall Invitational on September 14-15. Northwestern shot a 345 on Monday and a 360 on Tuesday to take first place by 37 strokes. Stephanie Martin was the medalist with an 85-80—165.
