April 14, 2016 – Due to James A. and Lorraine Case’s long-time support of education, the Case family – along with the assistance of family and friends – has established a scholarship in honor of James and the Case family.
January 29, 2016 -- The Northwestern Oklahoma State University Department of Fine Arts will present “Special Guest” in the Herod Hall Auditorium on the Alva campus Friday, Feb. 12, at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 13, at 2 p.m.
November 10, 2015--Musical and comedic duo Jeff and Stacy Pederson will perform as the second act in the Northwest Oklahoma Concert Series in Northwestern Oklahoma State University’s Herod Hall Auditorium on Dec. 1, 7:30 p.m.
November 10, 2015--Northwestern Oklahoma State University’s Department of Fine Arts will present a public performance of the children’s production “Cinderella! Cinderella!” on Saturday, Nov. 21, at 2 p.m. in Herod Hall Auditorium on the Alva campus.
September 25, 2015--Northwestern Oklahoma State University’s Department of Fine Arts will present “Cinderella Waltz” on Oct. 1 and 2, at 7:30 p.m. and Oct. 3 at 2 p.m.
November 9, 2011 - A piano debut recital featuring international pianist Dr. Sarah Chan, professor of music at Northwestern Oklahoma State University, has been scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 20, at 7:30 p.m. at Herod Hall Auditorium.
The Northwestern Oklahoma State University Fine Arts Department will play host to a never-before performed production April 8-10 in Herod Hall Auditorium. “Blue-Haired Belles,” a script written by playwright and Woodward native Woody Leonard, will be directed by Sayre theatre major Charlie Burns for his senior performance. The play explores life in a small town in Oklahoma and will shed light on the lives of the ladies of Charlene’s Crispy Chick Café. The production will run at 7:30 p.m. on April 8 and 9, and 2 p.m. on April 10.
