Upward Bound program looking for tutors

August 26, 2010

College students interested in getting paid for their tutoring skills should contact Northwestern Oklahoma State University’s Upward bound program. Upward Bound is looking for college students to tutor their participants and will pay a good hourly wage for their time.

The Upward Bound program usually seeks students who are interested in math and science, and have a desire to teach the skill to high school-aged students.

Students will earn $10 an hour and have the opportunity to build career portfolios.

Contact Jaunita Noble, Upward Bound Director, at (580) 327-8113 or jrnoble@nwosu.edu for more information.
