As part of a recruitment tour, 20 University Singers from Northwestern Oklahoma State University will perform at 2 p.m. on Oct. 30, at the First Presbyterian Church located at 628 Church St., in Alva as a culmination of a six location tour across Oklahoma. Admission is free.

Oldies, popular hits and sacred pieces are on the list of music to be performed on Sunday.

Dana Miller, Alva senior, along with Dr. Sarah Chan, assistant professor of music, will perform solos. University Singers are under the direction of Dr. Irene Messoloras, assistant professor of music and chair of the Fine Arts Department. During the tour, they visited high schools to showcase Northwestern’s musical talents and answered any questions about Northwestern.
