Angelia took the beginning of this meeting to catch a few members up on what the discussions have been in our meetings so far this semester.

We were happy to welcome Andrew Lauffer and Missy Buller back to the meetings. They were two of the reasons that an alternate meeting time was scheduled.

Fundraisers:

All members in attendance were still in agreement to play host to a “Santa’s Little Workshop” as a fundraiser in December. Angelia will proceed with getting permissions and scheduling a room. Members should keep looking up activities that could be done with children. The likely date for this would be Saturday, Dec. 11. This is the Saturday directly after finals. We would also plan to have our Christmas party on that date.
Some discussion was held on having a gift wrapping event at Walmart. No decisions were made.

Shawna also brought up the possibility of carhopping at Sonic as a fundraiser. There was some discussion. No decisions were made.

Brad brought up discussion on backgrounds for photos –two ideas for use were the giant Christmas Card or making a different background. Angelia asked the members if any had talked to friends about the possibility of taking advantage of a photography fundraiser… no conversations were reported at this time. Angelia asked about the feasibility of taking Christmas photos for residents at the Homestead…. Some discussion followed. No decisions were made.
