RANGER

 Northwestern’s beloved mascot is the Ranger, represented in the horse and rider logo.

 “Rowdy Ranger” is our mascot character and can always be found at our home athletic events, homecoming events and anywhere to entice Ranger pride for the Ranger Family.

RED & BLACK

Northwestern’s official colors are red and black! Every Friday has been dubbed “Red N’ Black Fridays” where students, faculty and staff get to show off their Ranger Pride at all Northwestern locations.  We welcome all Rangers around the world to join us and post their Ranger pride on social media using the hashtag #RedNBlackFriday.
