Northwestern Foundation Release
The Northwestern Oklahoma State University Alumni Association invites alumni and friends of the university on an unforgettable trip to Northern Italy and the Italian Alps.
Lizabeth Richey, Northwestern Alumni Association director, is leading the nine-day tour July 9 through July 17, which includes Florence, Pisa, Venice, Lake Como, the Italian Alps and Milan.
During the trip, alumni and friends of Northwestern will have the opportunity to visit the Leaning Tower of Pisa, travel by boat to the islands of Venice, gaze at Michelangelo’s David statue at the Academy Gallery, explore the ruins of Fort Fuentes, cruise Lake Como, and see the sights of the Tuscan countryside.
In recent years, the Alumni Association has traveled to Rome, Peru, Ireland, Alaska and Greece through Pilgrim Tours, the travel company for the upcoming tour of Northern Italy.
The double occupancy price per person is $3,109. Add an additional $275 for single occupancy. The trip price includes round-trip airfare from Oklahoma City, seven nights lodging at tourist and first class hotels, some meals, a full-time English speaking escort, a deluxe motor coach, all guides and entrance fees. Tips, some meals, optional tickets to the Last Supper by da Vinci and travel insurance are not included.
