 The Ranger

Northwestern Foundation Release

“The Ranger” bronze maquettes are still available for purchase from the Northwestern Foundation and Alumni Association, and delivery within 200 miles of Alva is now included.

The 13-inch models commemorate the life-and-quarter size monuments seen on the Northwestern Oklahoma State University campuses in Alva and Enid. “The Ranger” is the work of artist Harold Holden, of Kremlin, whose sculptures and paintings have captured the West for more than 30 years.

The numbered, limited-edition maquettes are $2,500 with $1,500 being tax deductible. Limited-edition, signed prints of “The Ranger” oil painting by Holden are also available for $125. Framing options are offered for an additional charge. Maquettes and prints are in stock and ready for the holidays.

Proceeds benefit the university through the Northwestern Foundation and Alumni Association. For more information or to order, contact the Northwestern Foundation and Alumni Association office at 580-327-8593 or nwalumni@nwosu.edu.
