Ted Satterfield joined the Northwestern faculty in August of 2007 as a mass communications instructor and adviser of KNSU, the radio station on NWOSU’s Alva campus. Satterfield is a native of Spiro, Okla. and has a bachelor’s in English from Dallas Baptist University and a master’s in professional writing with an emphasis in mass communications from the University of Oklahoma. He has a variety of experience in journalism and mass media and most recently worked as a newspaper editor in Great Falls, Mont. He enjoys books, film and, although he possesses zero skill, likes playing golf.
He and his wife Melanie live in Alva.
