Tired of turkey?
After celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday with turkey, wouldn’t it be nice to add a little spice to life? Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to enjoy authentic, homemade Spanish food prepared by the Spanish Club at Northwestern Oklahoma State University on Friday, Dec. 5, from 5 – 7 p.m., in the Ranger Room in the Student Center on the Alva campus.
Tickets for the dinner cost $5 for adults and $2.50 for children. Lupita Sinnes, instructor of Spanish, said club members also will have tickets at the door.
Money raised from this event goes toward a scholarship for Spanish majors.
“We are continually building this scholarship semester by semester,” Sinnes said. “We appreciate any support to help Northwestern’s Spanish majors.”
For tickets or more information regarding the dinner, contact Sinnes at (580) 327-8464 or ggsinnes@nwosu.edu.
