Symphonic, concert bands, jazz ensemble all perform at Northwestern-Enid March 6

Northwestern Oklahoma State University’s Concert and Symphonic Bands will combine forces to perform four band pieces on Sunday, March 6, at 3 p.m. in the Northwestern-Enid Commons Area.

Free and open to the public, Dr. Micheal Stone, band director, invites everyone to come out and enjoy a musical concert put on by the talented students of Northwestern.

The Symphonic and Concert Bands will play their rendition of Colossus of Columbia March by R. Alexander; Elegy by John Barnes Chance; Salvation Is Created by Pavel Tschesnokoff; and Folk Song Suite by Vaghaun Williams.

The Northwestern Jazz Ensemble will then perform four jazz band classics including Pick Up The Pieces by Average White Band, L’il Darlin’ by Neal Hefti, Front Burner by Sammy Nestico and Engine No. 9 by Les Hooper.
