Enjoy the dance fireworks onstage this Fourth of July weekend with a sparkling summer program that will take you “Around the World in 80 Minutes.” Join Oklahoma Festival Ballet and Contemporary Dance Oklahoma, the University of Oklahoma’s resident ballet and modern dance companies, on a dance journey with an international flavor. Performances are at 8 p.m. Thursday, July 2, and Friday, July 3, and at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 5, in the historic Holmberg Hall. “Around the World in 80 Minutes” includes three brand new works by Oklahoma choreographers, as well as an excerpt of a beloved nineteenth century classical ballet.
The historic Holmberg Hall is located inside Donald W. Reynolds Performing Arts Center and is located in the OU Arts District at 560 Parrington Oval. Seating is limited and reservations are strongly encouraged.
Ticket prices are $8 for students, $12 for OU faculty/staff and senior adults, and $15 for adults. Reservations can be made by calling the Fine Box Office at (405) 325-4101 from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.
