Representatives from the Oklahoma Blood Institute (OBI) were on campus recently during Northwestern Oklahoma State University’s second spring blood drive. The organization’s goal was to receive 100 units of blood and Northwestern students and employees reached the goal by providing 123 units for OBI.
In order to reach that goal, 127 individuals signed up to donate. Of the 127 individuals who signed up, 103 were able to donate.
“Northwestern students, faculty and staff never stop amazing me,” Valerie Curry, blood program consultant, said. “They truly demonstrate their mission of 'learning and leadership for life' by continually meeting the community's blood needs."
