Northwestern Oklahoma State University’s Sports Information Office has been honored in the annual publication contests of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and Sports Information Directors Association (NAIA-SIDA).
Ryan Hintergardt, sports information director, and his assistant, Kris Johnson, earned second place in the softball brochure category. There were 16 entries in the category. The entire media guide may be viewed at www.nwosu.edu/softball .
In the outsourced website category, the pair earned a ninth placing out of 38 entries for the Northwestern Athletics website (www.nwosu.edu/athletics ).
Annual NAIA publication contest includes game programs and brochures from a number of sports, as well as writing and websites.
NAIA-SIDA consists of all Sports Information Director members from nearly 300 institutions. NAIA-SIDA also works to develop agendas and policies within the NAIA.
