The Department of Fine Arts at Northwestern Oklahoma State University will play host to guest saxophonist, Dr. Eric Honour, on Wednesday, April 1, at 7:30 p.m., in room 200 in the Fine Arts Building. The concert is free and open to the public.

Honour will present a concert of new music written specifically for saxophone and computer. He is the director of the Center for Music Technology at the University of Central Missouri. This spring, as part of a sabbatical project, Honour has been traveling around the United States and Europe performing a program of works written specifically for him and for this program.

“We are delighted that he is going to be bringing this concert to Alva,” Dr. Stephen Kingsbury, associate professor of music and chair of the Department of Fine Arts, said.
