SAAC to announce Make-A-Wish adoptee, Talon

Northwestern athletics release

The Northwestern Oklahoma State Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and the Oklahoma Chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation have partnered with the goal of granting a wish for a very deserving recipient.

During halftime of the Men’s Basketball game on December 4th members of the SAAC and the Make-A-Wish Foundation will introduce our Wish Adoptee Talon.

Talon is a three-year old Woodward, Okla. native who has Hurler’s Syndrome. He is a normal three-year old in that he enjoys music, watching Mickey Mouse, Batman, playing with cars, watching the TV show Chugginton, reading and cheering on the Oklahoma City Thunder. Talon’s wish is to go to Disney World.

His mom and dad, Rebecca and Chris have four other children besides Talon, Mariah (15), Madison (15), Brayden (9) and Alexis (7).
