    ANNUAL RANGER RODEO STARTS THURSDAYThe annual Ranger Rodeo presented by Northwestern Oklahoma State University will have its opening performance at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, at the Woods County Fairgrounds Arena. More than 500 student competitors from 20-plus colleges and universities are expected to participate. The rodeo is a sanctioned event of the Central Plains Region of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association.

    RANGER RODEO TEAM PLACES SECOND, WOMEN 7TH AT PRATTPRATT, Kan. – The Ranger Rodeo Team finished second, while the women took seventh place at the Pratt Community College Rodeo from October 2-4. The men’s team finished 185 points back from Fort Scott Community College. Northwesen’s Northwestern’s women’s placed seventh in the seven team event.

    RANGER RODEO HAS EXCELLENT SHOWING IN CNFR; MEN TAKE 7TH AND WOMEN FINISH 13THCASPER, Wyo. – The Ranger men’s and women’s rodeo team had an outstanding showing at the 61st College National Finals Rodeo in Casper, Wyoming, while the men’s team took 7th place out of 57 qualifying teams and the women finished in 13th out of 29 qualifying teams.

    MEN’S RODEO TEAM LEADS CNFR AFTER TWO ROUNDS; WOMEN ARE 15TH CASPER, Wyo. – After two rounds at the 61st Annual College National Finals Rodeo in Casper, Wyoming at the Casper Events Center, the Northwestern Oklahoma State University men’s rodeo team stands as the team leader, while the Ranger women are in 15th.

    “We have had a banner day,” remarked coach Tim Kolb, talking about his team’s results after day two. “I am extremely proud of these kids. Dreams do come true, we’ll wait and see what is in store for us the rest of the finals.”
