Robin is currently an instructor of educational psychology. She has been happily married for 25 years and has two sons who currently attend school at the University of Oklahoma and East Central University. Robin taught in the Oklahoma Public School system for 10 years – mostly secondary science, but she has taught students from first through twelfth grade. She has also milked cows on the dairy she owned with her husband, worked as an AmeriCorps member revamping camp sites at Kanopolis Lake in central Kansas, waitressed, worked as a church secretary, and spent several years as a stay-at-home mom. Robin received her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology Education (1991), Master’s in Secondary Education (2008), and Master’s in School Counseling (2009), all from East Central University in Ada, OK. She is currently writing her dissertation (Teacher-Student Relationship and Authority Development) and hopes to complete her Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Psychology from the University of Oklahoma in the very near future. Robin wants to teach her students how to be effective inside and outside the classroom, because she realizes how great an impact a teacher can have on a student’s life.
