WICHITA FALLS, Tex. – The Northwestern Oklahoma State soccer team only got off four shots against NCAA Division II Midwestern State in the Rangers 13-1 road loss on Saturday.
Midwestern dominated the game, taking 65 shots and landing 31 on goal, while two of Northwestern’s four shots were on target.
Ashley Guinn, who took all four shots for Northwestern and scored the lone goal for the Rangers in the 84th minute on a penalty kick.
Goalkeepers Kelsey Archer and Sierra Willard split time and combined for 18 saves.
The Rangers (0-2) will entertain Mid-America Christian University for a 7 p.m. Sooner Athletic Conference game at the Alva Rec. Complex on Tuesday, September 9.
