Ranger rodeo a success, Women's All-Around Buckle won by Karley Kile

Karley Kile, All-Around Champion

Karley Kile, Topeka, Kan. senior won the Breakaway Roping and the All-Around title this weekend at the Ranger Rodeo.
The last rodeo of the fall season was hosted in Alva by the Northwestern Oklahoma State University Rodeo team.  Karley Kile, Topeka, Kan., senior, topped off her successful semester by winning the breakaway roping event as well as the All-Around Cowgirl title.

Rodeo Coach Stockton Graves said the weekend went very well, and the Rangers produced a great rodeo.

“Everyone showed up ready to work; we had great help from our students all weekend, which makes for a good rodeo,” Graves said.  “I always like to see those all-around buckles stay here, and Karly Kile is one of the hardest working ladies on the team.  I am excited to see what the six spring rodeos have in store for us. I think we will be sending a pretty tough team to the college finals again this year.”

The College National Finals Rodeo will be June 14-20, 2015.  Contestants will qualify based on their performances from the four fall rodeos and six spring rodeos coming next semester.
