Originally a demonstration school in the university teacher education program, the Education Center underwent a complete renovation in 1994-95. The departments of education and psychology occupy the building. The building was officially named the Joe J. Struckle Education Center in the fall of 2000 following Dr. Struckle's retirement as Northwestern's president in June 2000.
