Science
Building |
The Department of Natural Sciences is housed in the Science Building, which was built in 1963. Extensive laboratory space and equipment, as well as classrooms and offices were made available for the biology, chemistry, and physics departments. Physics and chemistry departments share the first floor, while the biology department and the science learning center use the second-floor area. The Science Building also houses the Amphitheater. This is an extension of the Science Building at its east end. Seating 136 people, it is used by various departments of the university. Audio-visual devices can be used effectively here. A complete renovation of this building is planned for Summer 2007. |
